crispy, flaky, little golden yellow cups of pure awesomeness. its been a while since i’ve had some egg tarts so the other day i went to Tai Cheong Bakery for some egg tarts. super delicious little tarts but like everything else in central a little bit pricey. i remember the days where egg tarts were only $3? anyway, how come Hong Kong doesn’t have the mini egg tarts? my mom used to buy the mini egg tarts on the weekend as a high tea snack! loved those little things because they were so bite sized. never made a mess while eating those.
i remember my nana use to buy me egg tarts all the time. Everytime we pass by a bakery, she’d always ask if i wanted them. she remembered how much i use to love them as a kid, so shed always ask to buy it for me. then when she got older i’d try to bring her some when i would visit.
